CrossRoads’ Kids-Where we meet children at the intersection of FUN and JESUS. At CrossRoads, we believe that empowering the next generation of the church to be loving and faithful disciples of Jesus is of utmost importance. Our Kids’ Ministry is anchored in five guiding values, designed to empower children to embrace their God-ordained roles as vital members of the body of Christ.

Our Age Breakdowns

The Littles

Ages 0-3, it all starts with the Littles! Our dedicated volunteers will provide a safe and loving environment for your littles. As the littles learn to trust the volunteers, they learn that church is a place where people care about them. Bible stories are read, and as they become older they can learn the basic Bible truths such as God loves me and God made me.

The Middles

Next are The Middles, our 4yr olds through Kindergarten! We utilize our age-appropriate classroom and play-space to provide a safe and fun environment where your kids can get all their energy out while learning about God’s love. (we use “Bible Adventure” from The Bible App)

The Bigs

We round out our Early Childhood Ministry with the Bigs our 1st through 5th graders! The children will have a lesson rooted in scripture (we use Go! Curriculum) and have interactive experiences to transform kid’s minds and hearts. Go! takes kids chronologically through the Bible to help them understand how each story fits together to tell the Big Bible Story of God’s love and redemption.

Safety protocols

Here at CrossRoads, a safe place for you and your kids is a top priority. We take safety extremely seriously and that’s why we’ve implemented a variety of ways to keep your kids safe.

  • We have a dedicated security guard that monitors our campus on Sunday mornings.

  • Every kid in our kids programs is required to be checked in and out by a parent or a trusted adult. This is all managed through our secure check in system provided by Planning Center

  • Each of our awesome volunteers must pass a background check before they are able to volunteer in our kids ministry

  • Our teachers and volunteers are trained to never be alone with a child. Additionally, our volunteers are provided site specific safety training throughout the year
